Brand new, straight from our conversion workshop, and ready for the red dirt.

What Sets the Wanderer 2.0 Apart

Next-Generation Power and Connectivity

At the core of the Wanderer 2.0 is a 300Ah lithium battery paired with a 200W rooftop solar panel and a 3000W inverter. This combination doesn’t just keep your phone charged — it runs a pod coffee machine, powers an induction stove, operates the 85L fridge/freezer continuously, and handles laptop charging simultaneously. No generator noise. No voltage anxiety. Just reliable power, day after day.

Above the cab, an integrated Starlink satellite dish delivers broadband-class internet at speeds up to 200 Mbps. Whether you’re a remote worker needing a reliable connection in the Pilbara, a family wanting to video call home from a Karijini gorge rim, or a traveller wanting to upload footage in real time, the Wanderer 2.0 keeps you connected where every other vehicle loses signal.

The 12-inch centre console touchscreen supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto — so your navigation, music, and communication apps work exactly as expected, even deep in regional WA.

Sleeping Elevated, Living Comfortably

The large rooftop tent fits two adults comfortably, with a queen-sized inflatable mattress and breathable microfibre bedding that washes easily between hires. Deployment takes under two minutes, and the tent sits high enough to catch a reliable evening breeze — a meaningful advantage when you’re camped near Exmouth in summer or in the sheltered bays around Albany.

A second rooftop tent is being added to the build shortly, which will bring total internal sleeping capacity to four adults, with room for additional swags or a ground tent for larger groups.

The 270-degree free-standing awning extends on three sides, creating a genuine outdoor living area rather than just a strip of shade. Camp chairs, a quality folding table, and the full cooking setup deploy in minutes, turning any flat patch of ground into a functional basecamp.

A Proper Kitchen in the Wild

The Wanderer 2.0 kitchen is designed for people who actually cook, not just those who survive on two-minute noodles. A 2-plate gas burner handles everything from a morning fry-up to a slow-cooked camp curry. The induction stove — powered directly from the inverter — gives you precise, fast cooking even when gas isn’t practical. A pod coffee machine runs off the inverter, so your morning routine doesn’t change just because you’re 500 kilometres from the nearest café.

The 85L upright fridge has a dedicated freezer compartment — large enough to store meat, ice cream, and frozen vegetables across a two-week trip without constant restocking. Two 1.3-metre storage drawers (270mm deep) keep cooking equipment, tools, and gear organised and accessible. A full set of quality cookware, utensils, and crockery is included.

Built for WA Roads, Ready for Families

The Wanderer 2.0 runs on a fuel-efficient diesel engine with enhanced suspension calibrated specifically for WA’s variable road surfaces — from smooth coastal highways to the corrugated approaches of Fitzgerald River National Park. The dual-cab interior seats five, with rear baby seat anchor points properly installed, not improvised.

The 100L integrated water tank eliminates the most common pain point of extended touring: running dry between fill-up points. The built-in camp shower means you can rinse off the Esperance sand or the Karijini red dust before climbing into a clean tent, regardless of whether there’s a facility block nearby.

Western Australia Awaits

The Wanderer 2.0 was built for a specific kind of trip — the kind where you drive until the road runs out, camp somewhere genuinely remote, wake up to silence, and do it again the next day. The Pilbara is the benchmark: Karijini National Park’s gorges, Millstream Chichester’s palm-lined pools, and the vast red distances in between are best experienced with a vehicle that doesn’t need a powered site every night. With 300Ah of lithium and a 100L water tank, you can spend five or six days in the gorge country without looking for a campsite with facilities.

The Coral Coast from Kalbarri to Exmouth offers a different scale of adventure — turquoise water, deserted beaches, and national park campgrounds that require genuine self-sufficiency. Heading south, the South West loop through Margaret River, Cape Leeuwin, Walpole’s Valley of the Giants, and the white dunes of Esperance rewards travellers who arrive with everything they need and nowhere they have to be. The Wanderer 2.0 is the vehicle for all of it.

Integrated Starlink delivers real broadband speeds even in remote WA. Remote workers, families checking in, and navigation apps — all covered, everywhere.

Wanderer 2.0 Reviews from Real Travellers

"Dorian's van was perfect for our trip — we travelled for 11 days from Perth to Esperance and didn't miss anything. The equipment was ideal for getting lost in nature and just enjoying the landscape. Dorian was also super helpful sharing tips and proposing itineraries. Would book again 100%."

Camplify guest

"Fantastic time exploring the South of WA from Perth to Albany then onto Margaret River with 4 adults. Very spacious with bags for 4 people and still room for camp chairs, table, and extras. Would highly recommend. Dorian is a gentleman."

Wanderer 2.0 - Common Questions

The Wanderer 2.0 is a ground-up rebuild rather than a modification. Key upgrades include a 100L integrated water tank with camp shower (replacing the original 22L portable shower), an expanded rooftop tent with queen-sized sleeping, a 3000W inverter for high-draw appliances, integrated Starlink satellite internet, and a 12-inch infotainment screen with CarPlay and Android Auto.

Yes — the Wanderer 2.0 comes with an integrated Starlink unit mounted on the roof, providing high-speed internet up to 200 Mbps across regional and remote Western Australia. Separate data plan fees apply. Contact us to discuss Starlink data options for your trip.

With a 100L integrated water tank, you have enough capacity for daily camp showers on a typical 3-5 day trip without needing to refill. For longer journeys, we recommend topping up at roadhouses and caravan parks, which are well-spaced along all major WA touring routes.

Yes. The Wanderer 2.0 includes properly anchored baby seat points in the dual-cab rear seats, a large rooftop tent that can accommodate two adults plus a toddler if needed, and a second rooftop tent is coming soon to expand sleeping capacity. The stable 4WD platform and enhanced suspension also provide a smooth, safe ride for children.

The minimum hire period for the Wanderer 2.0 is 3 days. We recommend at least 7 days to reach any of the signature WA destinations — Esperance, the Coral Coast, or the South West — and enjoy them properly.

Yes, the Wanderer 2.0 is equipped for unsealed roads and gravel tracks to access campsites. Access to sealed campsite approach roads is permitted up to 10km. Sand dunes, river crossings, soft sand roads, and heavily corrugated tracks are not permitted. Lucky Bay and Wharton Beach are exceptions for beach access.
